Providing a report on the past month’s activities against the 8 key objectives of the organisation

Improvement of community safety: 

1. The Forum continues to be a key partner in the fight against ASB and sits on the local NAG.
2. The Forum received more than 20 requests for support from local residents isolated due to dangerous and icy roads. The Forum has issued a request to local Councillors for more grit bins to be located in the area and for Streetforce to focus more on gritting pavements rather than roads.
3. The Woodseats SNA is being restructured as of 1^st April to follow the boundaries of the South Community Assembly area. Safer neighbourhood Officers will also be “restructured”. This could result in the loss of Gary Collingwood and a dedicated area office. The Forum Manager has contacted Councillors to express concern.
